VHF/HF RADIO OPERATORS CERTIFICATE (MROCP)
Captains want all crew members to be certified to operate a VHF marine radio.
VHF/HF Marine Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (MROCP)
Most captains require every crew member be licensed to operate a VHF Radio as these are used in normal daily operations, sometimes from one part of the vessel to another, from Yacht to Tender, and in emergencies. The VHF/HF Marine Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (MROCP) is required by law for anyone operating a VHF or HF radio of any size.
At the end of the course you will need to pass an examination.
