VHF/HF Long Range Marine Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) Examination
Most captains require every crew member be licensed to operate VHF/HF Radios as these are used in normal daily operations, sometimes from one part of the vessel to another, from Yacht to Tender, and in emergencies. The VHF/HF Long Range Marine Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) is required by law for anyone operating a VHF or HF radio of any size.
Main Features of the VHF/HF Long Range Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) Examination
This a self-study course. You will be provided with the required study materials and forms and then sit a two-hour examination for your radio operator's licence.
Two hours on a Saturday.afternoon.
Superyacht Training Location
